Raiding
If you are interested in participating in any raids with us, know that you are more than welcome and we're happy to have you! We want to have friendly, laid back raids but in order for them to be successful there needs to be some order. To ensure that each member gets the phat lootz fairly, we will have a Raid Committee. Aside from the RC, we need to have some guidelines that hopefully everyone will follow.
Raid Committee
Guild Leader: Kaat
Raid Leader: Finalchance
Raid Assistant: Drexx
Main Tank: Greede
The raid committee or RC will be responsible for passing out loot during raids. After a boss fight, they will switch channels in Vent and discuss what should go where and to whom. Things to be considered are: who needs the gear the most, does the person deserve it, as well as similar scenerios. Decisions made by the RC are non-negotiable. They are also
not personal! Just because you're a friend or family member doesn't get you special attention. We want it to be fair to everyone.
Guidelines for repairs
As everyone knows, repairs can be a costly pain in the butt - especially if you're the tank. In order for the tank as well as the rest of us to afford the costly repair bill associated with raiding, we have come up with a plan. As long as everyone participates, it should be successful. Below are the new rules or "guidelines" associated with repairs:
It would be nice if everyone would put money into the guild bank on a regular basis. We don't ask much but every little bit helps.
- To go long with this, we have developed a new system - the Buddy System. Every level 70 should have their dailies opened (if not, consult the raid committee for help). Every level 70 needs to choose a "buddy" to do dailies with. The two of you are responsible for putting 20-30g every two days into the guild bank. If one person is unable to do their dailies or be online, the other is responsible for the deposit. The RC will be keeping up with everyone's deposit. If your group isn't submitting any gold at all, there will be consequences. Once again, we are doing this so that we are all able to afford the repairs associated with raids.
The buddies are as follows:
Finalchance and Greede
Leppy and Kaat
Feel free to help anyone else, but so far these people are responsible for eachother. Doing dailies and questing is much more fun and a lot easier with a friend.
Consequences
As I mentioned before, there will be consequences for people who don't pull their own weight. This means that you need to be depositing gold into the bank and helping out fellow members.
If you have shown no effort what so ever as far as helping the guild goes, you can expect the following:
You may not be eligible to participate in a raid with us.
While in a raid, if something specific to your class drops - you will not be a candidate to consider when deciding who gets the item.
If you are the only class for a specific item, that item will be dis-enchanted on the spot!
If you continue to use us without giving something back, you may ultimately be removed from the guild.
Once again, please keep in mind that we want to be fairly laid back and friendly. We just don't want people to use us, stress us out, and not pull their own weight. No exceptions will be made.
For any questions, please consult anyone on the RC.
